“When the details of my life got so complicated that I began to retreat into a shell, my love for macro photography and nature helped me find some meaning and heal. These leaves, full of complexity and patterns, were revealing secrets of nature the closer I got to them. Getting immersed in them nursed my inner woulds delivering me to freedom, bringing me peace and calm, nurturing me, as is a part of their nature. This series was conceptualised and compiled during a very difficult and dark period in my life to remind me of my love for nature, creativity, macro photography, the wonder of life and the spirit of humanity on days when I feel like my very existence is being questioned and challenged.”
